| | | ID needed - early spring bulb Does anyone have any idea what this is - photographed today, naturalised on a Somerset village green? It's suffered a bit from recent frosts, but first impression is of a rather spindly blue crocus - somehow, though, it just doesn't feel right.
I know I've certainly never seen one before, in or out of a garden |

| | | Re: ID needed - early spring bulb The only thing I can liken this to is Meadow Saffron/Autumn Crocus but it would seem completely the wrong time of year.

| | | Re: ID needed - early spring bulb Seems early in the season, but looks like the rarer blue form of Tristagma (Ipheion) uniflorum with the flower just opening up. |
