| | | Sloes These were taken at different times the blueberry  if that is what it is was yesterday along the River Otter there were a lot of these bushes along the whole walk
The other ones have been in my Unidentified folder for a while and I frogot where I took them silly me.

Julie | Which one blue or green lol  Mind you i suppose they could be the same one in differing stages of growth.The blueish coloured ones were very hard not soft like some berries.The green ones were possibly taken in the same place the leaves look similar and I often fo along the Otter.They were taken a couple or more weeks apart |

The sloes are ripe early this year (as are the plums if you find any!). | They were from 2 different bushes as I walked along yesterday each bush i passed with the ripe ones on varied quite a bit in size those were the biggest the others were quite a bit smaller each bush seemed to have different sizes on them. |

| | | Re: ID for these Berries please My Dad loved sloes, and he always said that they should not be harvested until they have been subject to frost. Birds don't usually take too many, so they can be left on the bush safely. He used to gather them in November so that he could make sloe gin in time for Christmas - it was magic!
