(But the sepals are clearly visible between the petals, and the leaves do have a short terminal tooth - which does suggest Barren Strawberry).

| | | Re: strawberry confirmation It is Wild Strawberry (Fragaria vesca). The leaves are too shiny and smooth for Barren Strawberry and are the wrong shade of green. Also, as Mike said, the petals are not notched. |

I did think that about the petals but the leaves seemed too big for wild strawberry.....fair enough  Thanks
