Usually people take infusions of feverfew rather than eating them in a sandwhich! But what works, works. It was also taken for fever & even for the bites & stings of 'insects & vermin'. So if she gets stung by a wasp, you'll know what to do.

No there's a thought, if it works on stings and you can make an infusion of it, would it I wonder work on Horse Fly bites the bane of every horse,rider, stable hand or farrier in August I shall make a note of that and try it out next year, so far no one seems to have come up with an effective salve.

Clinical trials with feverfew on migraine sufferers have been pretty impressive. I chew a leaf when a headache hovers - seems to work OK for me.

Brilliant well done you, apparently it is quite bitter, but if you have migraine I doubt you would care about that.

I wonder if it would be possible to add Medicinal Plants to the listing - or would that be frowned upon by some official ministry or body of some sort maybe Possible Medicinal Plant Remedies ? We could all swop old wives tales and tried and tested remedies, dock works on nettle stings no one has banned the use of dock - yet !!!
