| | | Montbretia help needed I've had these plants, photographed at Brean Dunes, Somerset back in August, happily down as Giant Montbretia (Crocosmia masoniorum) ever since - but I've now been given an opinion that it's actually Aunt-Eliza (C. paniculata) I can't see why - so I'd welcome some advice?!
Hopefully someone who's more familiar with montbretias can tell me which one it is, so I can be sure it's properly identified in my database? |

I'm one of the contributors on there, which is why I'm asking because I received an e-mail from one of the other photographers telling me I'd made a mistake. I wasn't sure either way, though, so I'd thought I'd get some advice on here - and it looks as if they were right, I did misidentify them and they are actually C. paniculata.
It'll be changed as soon as the site's owner, John Somerville, reads his e-mails. |
