Vervain Verbena officinalis for the first and the second looks a lot like an escaped garden mint cultivar to me?

The Mint looks very much like Round-leaved Mint (Mentha suaveolens) which is native in some areas but may be one of it's hybrids which commonly escape from gardens

Don't know how I missed Vervain, it's one I've photographed before.

The Mint does look like Round-leaved. The range is right and it wasn't near gardens.

Spear Mint is a very variable species and some forms can look rather like Round-leaved Mint, though the latter usually has much more rugose (wrinkled) leaves.
However, typical plants of Spear Mint are usually quite distinct.

It is some of the hybrids that are more confusing such as Apple-mint (Mentha x villosa) and False Apple-mint (M. x rotundifolia). The first of these being rather frequently found.

It certainly looks a lot like the apple mint in my garden.
