ive been down on the south coast today and look what I found...
1 im almost 100% certain that this is old golden samphire but I need confirmation......the only thing stopping me is the fact that there are numerous seed heads per stalk......  
2 tare leaves?

Leifus, don't get confused
From it's seed heads it must be a composite, from its fleshy leaves and I assume its habitat it cannot be much else other than Golden Samphire. Gypsy Orchid's picture confirms. Certainly not a Sea Lavender
