| | | Re: Id needed for weird plant Well basically sticking out of the edge of a pathway near a railway embankment. Pretty dry, no real water source as such. Oh and in a shadowy area because of tree coverage. No flowers to be seen-a bit coniferous looking if that's the word. Thanks Tink.ww

there's a few different kinds of this thing (maybe three?) - I haven't yet learnt to tell them apart and yes I often come accross them growin on faily dry land too |

| | | Re: Id needed for weird plant E arvense & it's family are the oldest plants in the worl they are from the prehistoruc era & miners report rhizomes miles underground. These plants will survive in dry conditions & will easiliy break through tarmac.
