| | | Bush with white fruit for id Can anyone remind me what this plant is, I used to know what it is called but can't for the life of me remember! Growing in Berkshire next to a river today.

It is a native of western North America, introduced to Britain in 1817)
just read this about the shrub on another site. The fruit are strange looking things similar to marshmallow.
Im glad you posted this thread i was looking at some today and wondered
what it was. I thought it was a probably an escapee from someones garden
