| | | help in identifying plant During a walk near the site of the proposed olympic stadium in straford recently I came across a climbing plant. It was entirely green but it had very distintive seedpods these were also green but a lighter shade than the leaves but looked something like a cross between a chilli and a capsicum. It was firly thin but toughly skinned and infalted with air . Inside the seed pods were strings of seeds.
I have been unsuccessful in identifying the plant in my field guides does anyone else have an idea of what it is! |

| | | Looks as if it must be one of the Bladder-sennas (Colutea species). Grown in gardens and naturalised in waste places in southern Britain.
