Ken | Same as you Ken - The good old Primrose. I've loved this flower ever since I first saw a picture of one - on one of Her Majesty's Royal Mail postage stamps back in the early sixties.

My mother-in-laws favourite flower was the harebell and I never found out until just before she died why.
There was a field full of harebells near to their homes in Derby where they used to go for picnics and to spend time together before they married.
One summers day they lay down in the field where the harebells were in full bloom doing what courting couples do  only to find, rather painfully, that they had found a particularly populated 'red' ants nest.
I'll never forget the naughty grin on their faces when they told the story
