Mallows?


Is this just an ordinary Musk Mallow (Malva moschata), or could it possibly be Greater Musk-mallow (Malva alcea)?

I took the picture back in July and since then it's been labelled as M.moschata, but after looking at photos of M. alcea on the Net it looks a dead match. The trouble is, none of the images show quite enough detail, so I'd welcome an opinion from anyone with experience of either plant.

I would say normal musk mallow as well. have you tried british-wild-flowers.co.uk? thats a good website
