Found a white Centaury today

I have two seedlings flowering white among the usual pink oregano:

On Saturday I saw 3 white Devil's-bit Scabious flowers amongst what must have been at least a couple of hundred normal coloured ones. They were in grassland at the edge of a Birch wood just north of Aviemore.

I found this Albino Wild Thyme a couple of days ago in short grass on limestone at Dalton Crags (Hutton Roof) Cumbria. It was suggested I post the photos to this blog.

Nice find Bryan, glad you managed to confirm it was the Wild Thyme. The scent of Wild Thyme in the sunshine is one of my favourite summer smells.

I found some white Self Heal yesterday on the shore of Loch Insh, about 10 white plants near to some normal coloured ones. I'd left the camera in the car as it was very dull after really heavy rain, and it rained heavily again whilst I was out. I'll try and get back during the week if it's dry.

Finally got back to Loch Insh in the sunshine, but the White Self Heal was a bit past its best. I got a photo anyway, but will have a look next year to see if it comes up again.

I'm pretty sure this is a white form of Clustered Bellflower, which I spotted today (there were masses of the regular coloured flower everywhere at the site).

This was at Barton Hills in Bedfordshire - curiously this is where I once photographed some white Self-heal, which helped prompt Jez to start this thread (see posts #1 and #2).
