| | | plant id please
The first one i think is common storks bill the whole plant was about 3 to 4 inches in height
The second one i think its some type of stonecrop
third one carline thistle
and last of all is this bittersweet/woody nightshade. If so my book says the plant is poisonous, how dangerous is it?
I have said before on this forum i am a novice at plant id i was hoping for confirmation on my id's and hopefully see if ive improved at all
All the plants where photographed in the last week and all where found in sand dunes
Many thanks for the help

Woody Nightshade is poisonous but normally gives bad stomach reaction, not normally fatal. It can effect the nervous system, behaving as a narcotic, taken in quantity. Berries are most toxic when they are green.

| | | Re: plant id please I agree with you on 1, 3, & 4. but cannot see an image for picture 2.
(Not sure if this is a problem with my computer or a problem with your image - can anyone else see image 2?).
Bittersweet is generally classed as mildly poisonous - but as in all things this is a relative statement.
The best rule would be to treat any plant stated as being poisonous as though it would be very poisonous.
Regards
