| | | id needed please
Hi all
Excuse my ignorance i am a real novice and still learning. I use THE WILD FLOWER KEY by Francis Rose and struggle to get my head around all the terms in the book for plant parts.
I took this picture today and im not sure if ive got it right or completely wrong, is it a lesser trefoil.
It grows low to the ground in large patches, the leaves are soft to the touch and the yellow flowers are extremely small about 1/2mm clustered together to form the head you can see in the picture.
Any advice welcome mark.....
ps can you recommend any good id guides? |

| | | Re: id needed please I think it may be Black Medick - Medicago lupulina. I say that because of the little pointed tip to the leaves.
I may be wrong tho, hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along and either prove me right or wrong
