| | | Plant ID Hello
I've been asked to cut a shrub in a friends Garden, its quite a large shrub, about 6 foot tall, it currently has small yellow bud like flowers and its leaves are small, waxy and very much like small Holly leaves with spikes on. Only about 1cm in length though. I'm trying to find out if this is a native plant that can be found in the wild or simply a cultivated plant from foreign shores.
The leaves are all found in groups of 3 and have a very short stem to them. the plant is also prickly with spines on the stem.
Can anyone help my identify this plant that is unknown to me?
thanks
