2 Purple flowers for ID

These are 2 flowers from a walk this weekend.

1. I was disappointed with how badly the picture of the flower turned out, but perhaps someone can tell what it is.

your first one looks like betony but too under exposed - hence the purple.
its usually more pinky.


your second is devils bit scabious

Having now looked them both up I will hopefully recognise them next time.
