| | | Re: Midlands Hawthorn Thanks JoulsH, I,d never thought about the rarity of hawthorns, until someone who is doing an ecology survey here, said its only the 3rd one she,s seen since studying the Warwickshire area.
There are lots of old hedgerows around here. They were here at least from prior to the enclosure map of 1824,5 ?
My late husbands family moved here in 1916 so I know a fair amount about the history of the land.
