| | | Flowers from Rye Harbour Hi all just finding my way around the site. Thought I would try at posting some pics from Rye harbour in Sussex taken in June. These pics are smaller than I would normally post (300 x 400) as I have resized them to use in my Wild Flower data base. Do you consider 800 x 600 would be suitable for general forum post?

| | | Re: Flowers from Rye Harbour Hi Sylv, beautiful photographs, I like the Mullein in particular.
800x600 is generally a good size for screens. If you want to enter a photograph in to the Gallery then you'll need at least 800x600 to have it accepted (along with a few other criteria). If you're just posting images on the forum, then the image archive meets your needs in which you need not worry about photograph size.
800x600 is good though!

| | | Re: Flowers from Rye Harbour Rye Harbour is a smashing place- in May-July the shingle is very colourful. Haven't managed to find the rarest plant there (near the boathouse I believe) the rather insignificant Least Lettuce. Also good population of Red Hemp-nettle there. Lovely photos- always enjoy the Sea Pea.
Not to mention the birds, insects, etc! |
