| | | Pink grassland flower for ID? Please can someone tell me what this lovely little flower is called - the depth of colour is somewhat faded now I have uploaded, the pink was a fair bit richer than shown.
This plants was common in a patch of grassland I visited, and its ID will no doubt be obvious to someone. But I have others shots if needed.

| | | Re: Pink grassland flower for ID? Looks to me like Red Bartsia Odonites verna, in the Figwort family. Its an annual hemiparasite of grasses. The spike is one-sided.
