Wildflowers for ID and a tree

These are some flowers I am trying to ID.

1.

2.

3. There seem to be a lot of very similar flowers in my books and I suspect this photo may not give enough detail, but hoping someone can narrow down the possibilities.

4.

5. This is a tree - the closest I can find seems to be Elm, but it doesn't seem quite right.

Re: Wildflowers for ID and a tree

number 1 looks more like marsh woundwort to me. The heads on wild basil aren't as big as in the photo

For starters the leaves of this species are a totally different shape + though the flowers are a similar colour the inflorescence is also wrong for this!

This was the plant i had to look most closely at, but Hoary generally has a more open infloresecence than Common + the longer inner bracts are dark-tipped in Common + greenish in Hoary. For both of these reasons I believe the photo to show Hoary. The leaves are different to, but not too obvious in this photo, though what I do see points towards Hoary for me.
