flowers for id please

All found on calcareous soil and, other than the last one, along a woodland ride

1 I think this is Rosy garlic - just old flowers? It flowers from may-june





2 A knapweed: I think its common k.w. but it grew all outwards rather than one flower growing upwards. A clump if you like....and there was lots in flower - all of the knapweed in our garden is long gone....





3 closest I can get here is a dock



4 found in a hedgerow opposite a wood - could be a garden escape...

1) it looks just like a faded keeled garlic

2) looks like common knapweed but brown knapweed spreads outwards like you said - it is an introduced plant

3) not good on docks but could be curled dock

4) blue eyed grass?

4 is Flax (Linum usitatissimum)

No. 3 looks like Sheeps Sorrel to me.

I would think it's most likely to be wood dock considoring the habitat.

thanks everyone - anyone else on the garlic? I guess the best thing to do would be to go back next year and see. I still think rosy garlic tho' because the flowers seem too open and big for keeled garlic...
