| | | Is this Charlock and Pale Persicaria? I haven't been asking for help for a few days. We've got a puppy which seems to be as demanding as a baby. I do, however, still have a few images that I'm not sure of and assistance would be gratefully recieved.
The first 2 images may both be Charlock - is that correct? Sometimes they look the same to me and other times different. Both were taken on the same day, 23rd July, and they were close to one another. They seem late flowering for Charlock.
No 3 was ID'd on another thread by Aeshna5 as Pale Persicaria but I noted that later AlanS cast some doubt indicating that Redshank can produce white flowers. The location had a good number of Redshank and this white flower which does look very similar but white. Any further opinions?

| | | Re: Is this Charlock and Pale Persicaria? im not sure about the charlock ID but im pretty damn sure that the other plant is pale persicaria - ive photographed both redshank and pp before and there is a subtle difference in flower structure, redshank having smaller flowers tht r often different sizes on the same flower spike. hope tht helps a bit |

I'll file the images as Pale Persicaria and hope someone helps out with Charlock question. I'd go for more images but the weather's been a bit rough of late. |
