| | | Unknown plant for id err no idea what this is - i admit my instinct thought was a sun-dried bog orchid but im almost certain that it isnt. I found it growing on mossy hummocks on a heath in the New Forest. There was a whole patch of it...

| | | Re: Unknown plant for id yes we did go earlier in the year and saw loads of bog asphodel in full beauty. Annoyingly i spent ages trying to get into this bog to get a photo of it. when i got back i turned the corner and there was loads of it right next to the path....
