Epipactis helleborine var. viridiflora?

I photographed this BL helleborine at my local country park back in july. The population only ever consists of 3 plants that hardly ever flower but this year they did well and I noticed they were very pale - I wondered whether they could be var. viridiflora? They certainly don't seem to show any reddish colouration as BL hells do.

Hi

It looks like Broad-leaved Helleborine E.helleborine to me. It is a very varaible species in trms of flower colour. In our local population you can find anything from green to deep purple within a few feet of each other.

the ones near me (in Lancashire) are usually pinkish.

but there was one this year that had green flowers!



and quite strangely - the flowers drooped downwards!
