closest i can get is keeled garlic but im unsure. Found on calcareous grassland next to wild onion/crow garlic but im aware that wild onion flowers are completely different - or is this a variation?...

I have Keeled Garlic (Allium carinatum) in a glass beside me, a specimen from our local botany club. It grows locally. You need to check leaves (broad, grooved above, keeled beneath, not round in section) also it has two bracts. Your photo looks like a deformed double-header to me, but I would say 'yes' to Keeled Garlic.
Are you aiming to become a 'Commander of the Empire' with all your posts ?
