Not an orchid I am afraid, that pod has opened from the top. Orchids split down the sides. How big were the seeds, orchids are dust like.

| | | Re: common spotted orchid? I only suggest it from your description of the seeds, fits Bladder Campion perfectly. Thinking about it, I think Silene pods have a small aperture at the top rather than a split, I'll have to check (or wait until they germinate next year  )
