I was going to post my pic. so that you could see the plant, but Keenteen17 beat me to it with his. (and it's a better picture than mine),

I assume Keenteen saw his plant a while back ?, because mine, although still in full flower, did look a bit "past it's sell by date".

Slightly battered by all the wind & rain we've been having I think.
(I'm still logging it down as another tick on my list though).

mine today 19/10 is field woundwort (mistook it for wild basil at first!)

and also one of the soldiers.

possibly treacle mustard

and common comfrey

(blimey the comfrey has lasted a long time!)

I think you have liked to the wrong photo there!

I too have seen dark mullien flowering quite late in the season (last year to be precise) over at Cambridge Botanic Gardens. Well worth a visit when you go to Cambridge.....

WINTER HELIOTROPE!! YAAAAY one up on you now

just winter aconite to go now..........
its a bit early isnt it? This was the only flower other than a very small one...

Unfortunately Winter Aconite does not grow wild in this part of the country but will look forward to seeing photo good luck
