Yes, I'm pretty sure Wallflower is an alien and a native of the Mediterranean. They naturalise pretty easily, though - you can find the odd plant on waste ground or the side of a pavement anywhere, but they're at their most impressive in their "natural" habitats on cliffs & gorges. There's a fine population at the Avon Gorge, near Bristol.
