ahh but i have found open ones - these are the "wild" ones as a pose to planted ones (which are the ones that are open) - ill post a photo when I go back with my camera.....they are by some wild crocuses too

but ive no idea what they are so ill post those tooo

theres no proof your wild ones are open you could just be saying that to make it look like you have won

the green hellebore won't be up for ages. I only saw it at beginning of April last year. the stinking hellebore is the winter flowerer. This cold will hold them back even longer.

haha yeah I forgot they were later flowerers

You guys are really making me jealous

. Up here in Aviemore, I've only seen a couple of bedraggled Snowdrops in a garden this year, and they've been covered in snow of up to 20 inches for over a week.

Even though the snow is slowly melting, it's still about 8 inches deep in places, so I'm not going to see any flowers for a while yet.
