Pale-yellow flowered Birds-foot-trefoil

Walked past a whole lot of Greater Birds-foot-trefoil growing beside the road today, and noticed that there were two clumps with much paler-yellow flowers......any ID clues appreciated!

The plants were slightly shorter, but the individual flowers slightly larger, than the 'normal' coloured ones beside them. Just checked - hollow stems....

personally Im not sure - but there are about 5 species of birds foot trefoils

Sounds like natural genetic variation to me!

Hi Jenny,

I dimly remember seeing it this colour before, but I cannot remember where and it certainly isn't common.

Same species of course, as you already checked.
