I think I'm right in saying this is a Crane's-biil which I found at the side of the track from my home to Rainton Meadows and hiding amongst Cleavers. It has many features of Long-stalked (size,colour,leaves and structure) but has notched petals. In Wild Flower Key I can't find a match.
Can anyone assist please?   |

I'd say it was Cut-leaved Cranesbill - Geranium dissectum

Thanks folks. It may be than my eye was drawn to leaves of Cleavers, which probably outnumbered the Crane's-bill. Wild Flower Key does not illustrate the flower for Cut-leaved although it does make reference to notched petals. |
