| | | A few IDs please :) You'll have to forgive me if some of these are obvious, I'm absolutely hopeless at anything with leaves!

1 A bedstraw although I am not sure which one!!
2 As agp says almost certainly Common Centaury (Centaurium sp)
3 Mignonette (Reseda lutea)
4 Figwort (Scrophularia sp) with what looks like a Mullein Moth caterpillar
All the best

djackso, interesting thought on the caterpillar, I had just assumed it was a Mullein moth. Any idea on differentiating the two? From my limited understanding is pretty rare in the UK, but these photos were taken in the Channel Islands, so more possible. Mullein does lay on figwort too though, as far as i know. |

Largely bracken and grasses, not particularly marshy. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
