water mint or corn mint. Found in woodland by a puddle that is always there so the soil is likely to be quite wet.

2-

a mayweed or chamomile but which one?

3-

mint?

4-

marsh foxtail or some reed?

How about Common Spike-rush Eleocharis palustris for number 4? The one we get round here are only a few cm tall but it can grow to about 60cm tall.

No.2 looks very like Chamomile but not in the best of health - it's usually a bit leafier than that!

2. Scentless Mayweed?
3. Marjoram - looks like a golden leaved garden form
4. I agree - Common Spike-rush

thansk. I did wonder if it was corn mint but was wondering if it could've been water mint.
