I have found this orange poppy in a lot of places. I am thinking either californian poppy or babbingtons poppy. |

There is an orange poppy which naturalises fairly easily but I forget its name (  ) - it's a Papaver not Meconopsis like the Welsh poppy although they look very similar. The fruiting body of your picture does look more Meconopsis-like. Or it could be that someone has been scattering California poppy seed around ( Papaver nudicaule).  |

This is nothing to do with the identity of the photo posted, but is a clarification on names......
Papaver nudicaule: common name is Iceland Poppy, not Californian Poppy.

I agree that the orange poppy is Welsh Poppy - the orange form is called Mecanopsis cambrica var. aurantiaca |

I think it's the orange form of Meconopsis cambrica too, but it's not so helpful having a blown up picture of the flower + no foliage to look at.
There is a garden species Papaver atlanticum that has orange flowers that naturalises occasionally. | | |
