Flower ID - Red Yarrow?

I had a walk along track towards Pittington today and noticed this plant growing close to the track. There was only this one and another a little further along that I could see. I seems to be Yarrow but red! Its a long way from any garden if, as I suspect , it's an escape

Achillea millefolium rubra, red yarrow, I agree. I think it must be a garden culivar.

There are many Achillea millefolium cultivars, but pink flowered forms are occasionally found in wild populations.

Thanks for replies. I didn't know there was such a thing either but it looked like Yarrow and was red - Hey Presto! Red Yarrow.
Wouldn't it be nice if all IDs were that simple?
