unidentified tree?

I have this fir?? tree in my garden, which has strange cones on.. i have tried looking to see what it is, but have had no luck..

i'm not sure if it's native, but all the birds seem to enjoy it..

it did have tiny yellow flowers about a month ago (birds ate these)
general colour is a yellow/green.
i've taken a picture of the cones, hope there's enough information here..

please help

You may be right, certainly a Cupressus sp.

I agree also. A Cupressus, quite probably macrocarpa or just possibly a sempervirens cultivar (not necessarily the slim upright form).

hey thanks, i thought it probably wasn't native. i think it's close, but not quite right,,, i looked at a picture on google, and the pines didn't look right. but of course the picture could have been wrong...#
