I've a feeling I've seen this before and should know it, but I can't think what it is. There was quite a lot of it growing in a wood here in the chalky Chiltern Hills today, if that helps.

I should have known! I even looked at that in my little flower book (should have checked the others) but it didn't look quite right somehow.
I saw it last year (I think I checked the ID here on WAB), and have just checked the photos I took then. If I'd done that first I'd have known straightaway!
