I took this photo of a flower in a boggy area of heathland in the New Forest on saturday there were alot of them but as it was so windy im afraid they would not keep still so photo not good  My first thought is it looks like a sort of orchid but i havnt seen a yellow one?
Please can you ID thankyou

It's Bog Asphodel Narthecium ossifragum.
All over the bogs at the mo.  |

After you told me what it is I looked it up on google and learnt why its latin name means 'bone breaker' its interesting to know about the things you see out walking
