| | | Sedges from Seed Hi All,
Is there anything specific I should know about growing sedges from seed as opposed to herbaceous plants from seed. I'm about to do some conservation work on Brown Sedge.
Cheers,
Adam |

Cheers,
Adam | I've grown a couple of species of sedge from seed with no problem or special treatment, though I haven't tried Brown Sedge.
Most of them are herbaceous plants in that they die back in the winter! |

| | | Re: Sedges from Seed Cheers Aeshna. I didn't think they would need special treatment, just that I have a very small seed source to work with. As far as we are aware there is only one site in the borough that holds this species - local provenance and all that.
Cheers,
