| | | Re: Orchid ID please Looks very like Gymnadenia conopsea, Fragrant Orchid, to me. Far too long a spike for Orchis pyramidalis. I think I can see the beginnings of a long spur, too. |

You had be doubting myself then ye buggers!
I am about to do my diss on a chalk downland so i see pyramidals in all shapes and sizes plus white ones...and its totally wrong shape and wrong flowers for fragrant orchid of which the site also has in good numbers.
