| | | small wildflower help No photo im afraid , the only camera i have has seemed to have bust. There was a fungus aswell that i was wanting to have id but thats a different thread .
I've had a look through the wildflower books i can find but cant see anything that looks similar, so i thought id pick your brains, alothough I realise it'l a bit tough to id, but might as well ask
Its growing on a patch of farmers land where they've cut down the hay and is spreading out rather growing tall, with leaves that are quite small, the flowers are also very small with 4 petals, each of which arespear shaped. They are a light lilac colour and seem to be clumped together. Leaves are light green and kind of jagedy .
Not much more i can add, any help is muchly appreciated

| | | Re: small wildflower help It sounds like the single plant that grew in my garden both last year and this. Its spring flowering with pale lilac/darker striped petals curved into small tulip shape. The leaves are thinnish with jagged edges and it disappears into the soil come early summer.
But like you ogwen, I'm at a loss as to what it is. |
