Red valerian Centranthus ruber isn't a native plant. It naturalised in Britain when it escaped from gardens. It came from the Med. So I think you could say it's both, if that's the case. |

Thanks djackso for the info. So it's a mediterranean plant, explains why Red Admirable's love the plant so much, it's home from home!!!
