| | | 2 more for ID please I recently got an ID for Common Water Plantain which wasn't flowering at the time so I have been back to get images of development. Close by , in the same boggy area, I noticed this plant which seems to have developed something like a flower. What might it be?
While out with the dog today checking on the local Nettle leaved Bellflower (still no flowers yet) I found this on the margin of a rape field. It has the look, to my inexperienced eye, of an elongated clover - its not of course! It could also be of the pea family. Whatever I can't ID it. Can anyone assist |

| | | Re: 2 more for ID please Thanks mrs fish for rapid response. My possible Burr Reed was about 30 cms. I don't know if that makes it "small". |

| | | Re: 2 more for ID please I have just taken a look at piccys and I also will suggest Branched Bur Reed, not sure if the fumitory is common though, as it usually has some black markings on it from my witnessing of the plant !?!

| | | Re: 2 more for ID please Thanks for interest. Fumitory is a new family to me. "Wild Flower Key" list a few types with only minor differences via sepals and fruits. I've posted a closer view hoping it might assist. |
