Help with IDs please from Friday walk

On Friday, courtesy of my concessionary bus pass, I took a stroll around the Moor House area which is a Scout Centre next to the A690 between Carrville and West Rainton. The area includes a small nature reserve and 2 woods with pathways also leading to the River Wear. I took about 100 pictures and wonder if anyone could confirm or help with IDs please.

Feverfew?






This was in the woods in the shade. What is it please?

1 Yes, Feverfew, Tanacetum parthenium
2 Geranium x oxonianum (garden escape)
3 Yellow Pimpernel, Lysimachia nemorum

The second looks like Geranium maculatum or something very similar.

Thanks for the help, at least I managed to ID one correctly. I find the incidences of garden escapes puzzling and confusing when found well away from gardens. Presumably seeds can be spread by birds.

yes birds but people do a lot of fly tipping!

Number 2 looks more like Wood Crane's-bill (Geranium sylvaticum) to me...

Thanks Tiggrx, my experience is that you're usually correct. I have a few images of the plant, would any particular detail help with a positive ID?

I have wood cranesbill in my garden & I too will go with Tirrgx!

Thanks Jez. I'm happier that it's a wild flower. It's nice to find something that I haven't noticed before but it can be disappointing if it's an escape.
