Orange hawkweed flower, hairy, ID please

I have this flower that has seeded itself this year, never seen it before. It has hairy single stem and hairy leaves (with straight edges) slightly longer but very similar to the mouse-ear hawkweed.

The top of the stem is not a single flower but a mass of flower buds about 10 of them. The flower is orange but looks very similar to the hawkweed type.

Guess what, its probably...... Orange Hawkweed! Also known as Fox and Cubs (Pilosella aurantiaca)

Is it ok to leave them alone, I mean it's not going to be a problem weed like dandylions are? And hopefully nothing like Horse Tail?

I have no problem with Fox & Cubs in my garden Wig. There nothing like dandelions for self seeding I have plenty of those in my garden also, but I just see them as another pretty flower!

If they are in grass, mowing them will clear them out very quickly. They don't seem to be very competitive, I have to mow round them or keep them in a pot. Nothing is like Horestail, that needs a nuclear explosion to sort it out, and then it probably spreads it.

Mine's just coming to flowering, looking forward to seeing it. My mind links it up to the house I grew up in, and from there to so many houses I have lived in. My little orange friend will be around somewhere and be something to look forward to.

Oh and the kids and the missus are usually about somewhere. They can look after themselves.
