ID for the dreaded white flowers

So many white ones like this I am stuck
I think this is from the carrot family and despite all my books I just cannot ID it there are so many that look alike.it was found on the walk by the river Exe estuary water on one of the path trees and bushes the other side of the path.

The leaves do show quite a bit in the second photo
I was hovering between Moon Carrot Wild Carrot and Sweet Cecily but in all four books I have they all look so alike.Will have to go back and smell it as well as photograph the leaves more closely

That was another one I considered but habitat didn't really fit

Looks like Angelica sylvestris ( Wild angelica ) to me and the ground seems to be right in your description.

Yes that is the one I have been looking at a lot,but I am going back to it sometime this week to investigate moreThanks for all suggestions at least I am looking at the same ones it is just deciding which

Angelica is found in wet woodland areas fens and damp grassy areas where Hemlock water dropwort is found by streams and rivers I would go with Wild Angelica- Angelica Sylvesrtis!

Hemlock Water-dropwort, Oenantha crocata! Why did you think habitat was wrong? It grows along rivers, etc,. Foliage is wrong for Angelica + flowers aren't such a pure white.
