Thanks.

Not sure on the daisy-like one - looks like garden cultivar
2 Woody Nightshade, Solanum dulcamara
3 Common Vetch, Vicia sativa

| | | Re: New to the flower scene I will second all of Jenny's answers.
The Daisy-like one is a Daisy (Bellis perennis) - it's not uncommon for wild plants to show pink colouring or extra petals. |

Here are a couple of links to wildflower websites that show flowers by colour - might help a bit until you get some books and narrow the ID search slightly! Wild Flower Finder Irish Wildflowers by Colour |

I started taking pictures and a closer interest in flowers last year. I hope your find it as interesting as I have. You'll also find that the folks on the site will be able and willing to give help.
I bought 'The Wild Flower Key' by Francis Rose to help with my ID's but I must admit it doesn't really work for me but it probably takes time and effort! It's still a handy reference book but not as helpful as the experts on the site. |

| | | Re: New to the flower scene Hi Dai,
I too have only recently started shooting flowers and find it fascinating, it's only through photography that I have started to really appreciate flowers. This has also led to taking shots of insects, which is also interesting but naming the flowers and insects is mind boggling.
