I have noticed
I have noticed that since i changed my garden to a cottage type planting
i have many more "visitor" wild plants, jack- in- the- hedge,enchanters nightshade
sweet rocket,to name a few
any ideas as to why?

It may be that more birds visit your garden too now Nightshade and are depositing the seed when they ....erm....poo. I know that's how I've had some wild flowers, a holly tree and ferns appear here.
