| | | Re: Is this Charlock? You were all correct! Took a closer look today and took this image. They look identical except the colour. They both have clasping leaves. The deeper yellow is the same colour as rape in adjoining fields. The lighter yellow flower is confined to the untended area and is, I hope you would agree, very noticable. |

I agree that the plant that took your eye is a very pale yellow as far as Rape goes...I wonder why it should be so very different when growing so close to the normal shade of Rape?

Kayleigh, the brown object is our terrier Tyke who keeps me company on most walks around the area.
